After a short break for Osheaga on August 4th, Piknic will return in grand fashion on August 11th when London duo Dusky (UK) headline the Piknic stage with their patented mix of House music. You’ll want to come early, as Australia’s Roza Terenzi (AU) opens up the proceedings with her adventures through new school dance music and Berlin’s Brame & Hamo (DE) get us ready for the grand finale with their high-energy party House. The Boisé stage meanwhile, will come courtesy of local lights Carte Blanche, starting with the minimal sounds of Claire (QC) followed by the Maxime Dangles (FR)’s thundering techno.

On August 18th, the Piknic stage will begin with Mandy (QC)’s ethereal, liquid sounds, setting the scene for a day of fun in the sun, followed by 00:AM Djs (QC) and their synth soaked take on the hottest music in club land. The action will culminate when the one and only Denis Sulta (UK) comes through with a Party House clinic for the ages – you won’t want to miss it! At the Boisé stage, DJ Frog (QC) will open things up with her Eclectic mix of breaks house and techno. Then, D. Tiffany (QC) will bring her break inflected approach to keep things shaking, before Detroit electro legend DJ Stingray (US) blesses us with his city’s beloved, soulful sound. Don’t miss it!

On August 25th, MUTEK will take command of both stages for our annual collaboration, and we’ve got something special in store for you! Headlining the Piknic stage will be Detroit duo Octave One (US) whose unique, expertly mixed live techno performance will present the genre in its most soulful, cosmic light. Prior to that, Danielle (UK) will open with an experimental edge and Mike Shannon (CA) will represent the latest in sophisticated sounds. At the Boisé stage, Massyl (QC) will begin things in a minimal fashion, passing the baton to Bamboo Hermann (QC) for some jackin’ House before notable name Aleksandir (TR) brings us home with his sophisticated grooves.

Finally, Friday August 30th and Saturday August 31st will see the beginning of our 4-day collaboration with MEG extending through September 1st and 2nd. For this special Friday, legendary New York House duo Mood II Swing (US) will headline with some rousing, soulful house to get your feet moving and your hands in the air, following jackin’ sets by local mixmasters Heidi P. (QC) and Pat Boogie (QC).Then on Saturday, the Piknic stage will welcome the bumping sounds of Esther Côté (QC) in the opening spot, before Stereoclip (BE) takes us into space with his big room anthems, and French superstar Rone (FR) stuns us with his thrilling live mix of electronic and classical sounds, all reconfigured for the dance floor! And that’s just the first half of this massive 4-day weekend!
