The RawSoul

Montreal's The RawSoul got hooked on house music in 1986, at the tender age of 6, when his DJing uncle introduced him to the Chicago house sound. In those days, The RawSoul was already familiar with the late disco and RnB sounds of the early 1980s. However, the relentless & percolating rhythms of Chicago House had a real impact on the would-be DJ. To this day, he remembers what his uncle once told him about the Chicago sound: "This is the sound of the future!”
