Hicky & Kalo

Hicky & Kalo are a DJ and producer duo from Montreal, Canada. Both classically trained and graduates of the University of Montreal in electronic music, they’ve earned a stellar reputation for their distinct sound, deep commitment to the scene, and love for melodic, groovy rhythms. As residents at the iconic Stereo Montreal and founders of Plaisirs Sonores Records, the duo now stands at the forefront of the global underground melodic movement.

As accomplished producers, Hicky & Kalo have released music on renowned labels such as Sudbeat Music (run by Hernan Cattaneo), XYZ (When We Dip), Replug Records (Cid Inc), as well as their own Plaisirs Sonores imprint. Their deep and melodic sound has attracted remixes from top-tier names like Rodriguez Jr., Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Soul Button, Makebo, and Karmon.

Their label has also featured respected artists such as Armen Miran, Sahar Z, Julian Wassermann, Petar Dundov, Dmitry Molosh, Budakid, Cid Inc, and more — a testament to their curatorial vision.

In late 2023, their collaboration with Hernan Cattaneo titled “Voyage” reached #1 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart, marking a major milestone in their growing international career.
