Due Diligence

Having maxed out on the Montreal DanceQuest after holding every decent dance club residency (StereoBar, Datcha, Newspeak) and appearing regularly at festivals (Igloofest, Piknic Electronik, AIM), Due Diligence (ex-Ledisko) recently graduated to DJ Heaven (Berlin), where he now competes against 200,000 other foreign-born DJs for the right to push play the right way every single night.

Already the youngest label manager in Turbo Recordings history, the dance music professional’s dance music professional now pulls double duty in the same role at !K7 Records, through which he’s stealthily involved in a dozen of your other favourite labels. When you also consider that he’s opened for every headliner imaginable (Tiga, others) at venues around the globe in his nine years on the pro circuit, it seems safe to say that dude’s been doing his due diligence.

“I left Montreal to challenge myself, because up until then it had all been too easy” says the Italian French-Canadian Berliner. “To understand what life is like for normal DJs, I moved to the B to start over from as close to the bottom as I could comfortably get. Even if I end up succeeding (again), the important thing is I tried to fail.”
