The sun is shining, and we can’t wait for Piknic’s traditional opening two days of fun. In fact, we’re downright hype! On May 20^th and 21^st, the Solotech stage will be moving to extraordinary talent, starting with the deep grooves of Montreal’s Hicky & Kalo (QC) and the hypnotic sounds of local light Kris Tin (QC) – everything you need to get the party started! Then, ANNA (BR) will headline the evening, taking us on a subterranean journey, equal parts dark and heavenly! But remember to save some energy, because the very next day, the Solotech stage will start on an adventurous note thanks to Driss Skali (QC)’s subtle approach to mixing, before DeWalta (DE) and Berghain grandmaster Marcel Dettmann (DE) present an absolute techno clinic that you simply cannot afford to miss.

Meanwhile, at the Moog Audio stage, May 20^th will be an all-local affair, courtesy of the NAFF Collective’sDJ Name (QC), Dust-E-1 (QC), and Priori(QC), who will come through with funky, futuristic visions of dance music, peppering booming drums with shimmering synthesized sounds. Then, on May 21^st, local party people Front Rite take control, presenting Mayfie (QC), Kloves (CA) and Atroxx (QC), who’ll be bringing high octane, energetic sounds to satisfy all of your dance floor desires.

Want more? Well we’ not done yet! Piknic will be back on May 27^th with two very different vibes. The Solotech Stage will start with Alexa Jurjan (QC)’s jacking house to get your toes wiggling, followed by Piknic vet Paolo Rocco (QC)’s sweet deep sophistication, the perfect soundtrack to a sunny afternoon. Finally, the day will end with Matador (IE) who will be presenting a highly anticipated live set for all of the astral travelers at Plaine des Jeux.

In the mood for a different vibe? Local Bass music experts Musik Me Luv have you covered, as Dick Lee (QC), Vybes (QC) and Melek (QC) present their own unique take on London’s original dubstep sound, complete with heavy bass and plenty of forward-thinking rhythms. Then, headliner Kahn (GB) will cap off things with his powerful mix of dubstep and grime, straight from the basements of Bristol. A must-attend occasion for fans of the UK underground!
