The summer heat is blazing and Piknic is here to soundtrack each and every week this July! The fun begins on July 7^th as crowd controller HOSH (DE) headlines the Piknic stage for a day of melodic techno, with local lights Beatrix (QC) and HOSH’s fryhide labelmate Groj (QC) opening with their own subterranean sounds. The Boisé stage will come courtesy of When We Dip’s label XYZ, starting with the rolling rhythms of Joumana (QC), deep house by Dexter Crowe (QC) and Wuachuma (QC)’s electronic explorations. Non-stop fun ahead!

The very next week on July 14^th, we’ll welcome back Crew Love for a very special day of house music and party vibes, as The Fitness & Pony (QC), Wolf + Lamb (US), and Soul Clap (US) soundtrack a perfect afternoon of electronic delights. As for the Boisé stage, LIP will be in control, starting with G L O W Z I (QC)’s soulful grooves, followed by Frankie Teardrop (QC)’s cutting edge take on club music and finally Courtesy (DK)’s expertly mixed techno.

Want more? Well don’t miss Deborah de Luca (IT) headlining the Piknic stage on July 21^st, her no holds barred techno sets have had dancers the world over throwing their hands in the air, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our fair city. You’ll want to come early as well, as Okin (QC) gets the techno vibe rolling in the opening spot. Meanwhile, at the Boisé stage, Front Rite will present a mix of deep house and techno, starting with Sierra (QC), followed by Unlimited Free Guestlist (QC) and finally, the adventurous sounds of Brian Cuta (QC).

Last but not least, we’ll end July with a bang on the 28^th, as Dutch duo Detroit Swindle (NL) connect the dots between European and Detroit house in the Piknic stage headline spot, following Demuja (AT)’s keen selections and local luminary Fundance (QC)’s opening set. At the Boisé stage, Conkrete MTL will present an afternoon of bass house, including high powered sets by Marcbook Pro (QC), followed by Kate White (QC), and headliner Omnom (US). Dirty House lovers won’t want to miss a single second of this jam packed day!
