The concept
The first set of the day doesn't always happen at the park. It starts where friends meet up before heading out together. That's Pré-Piknic.
Every Sunday, we transform the Terrasse Le jardin du Casino de Montréal into a gathering point before Piknic Électronik: DJ sets, festive brunch, Piknic-inspired cocktails, and good company. Free, 18+, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., August 30 to October 11 (except September 20).
All that's left is to join the crew and let the day take care of the rest.

Is Pré-Piknic free?
Yes! Access to Pré-Piknic is free. Food and drinks are available for purchase on the Terrasse Le jardin. Just show up and enjoy the music and the vibes.
Do I need to reserve a spot?
Access is on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity is limited to 350 people per event, so we recommend arriving early to make the most of the experience.
Does Pré-Piknic give me access to Piknic Électronik?
No. Pré-Piknic is a separate event happening before Piknic Électronik. It’s the perfect gathering spot to kick off your day before continuing your Sunday at the park.

What are the hours?
Pré-Piknic takes place every Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM, from August 30 to October 11, 2026, except on September 20.
Is Pré-Piknic 18+?
Yes. Pré-Piknic is reserved for guests aged 18 and over.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes! Terrasse Le jardin will have everything you need to kick off your day, with a festive brunch-inspired food menu and a selection of cocktails inspired by the Piknic universe, available for purchase on site. You’ll also find our iconic reusable buckets and Cupko reusable cups.
Will there be music?
Yes! Each Pré-Piknic will feature a musical lineup to kick off your day on the right note.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Since Pré-Piknic takes place at Terrasse Le jardin at Casino de Montréal, a dress code applies according to Casino rules. For all details, please visit their website here!
Are there any restrictions on bags?
Yes! Since Pré-Piknic takes place at Terrasse Le jardin at Casino de Montréal, the Casino’s bag policy applies. Backpacks, motorcycle helmets, umbrellas and similar personal items are not permitted inside and must be left at the coat check or in your vehicle. Food and drinks are also not permitted inside the Casino. For all the details, check out this link!
What happens if it rains?
Pré-Piknic happens rain or shine. Terrasse Le jardin has arrangements in place to help guests enjoy the experience even if the weather isn’t on our side. Any major updates will be shared on our social channels.
Can I come to Pré-Piknic only?
Of course! You can enjoy Pré-Piknic without heading to Piknic Électronik afterwards. But if you feel like keeping the Sunday going, the park is waiting. 😉
