IMPORTANT - STM STRIKE
Important information for your upcoming OfF Piknic event with Purple Disco Machine (Sept. 26th) and Carl Cox (Oct. 3rd)

Heads-up for your OfF Piknic nights with Purple Disco Machine/Carl Cox:
A STM strike will pause metro service from 5:45 pm to 11 pm and bus service from 5:45 pm to 11:30 pm. No worries, we’ve lined up plenty of ways to keep the party moving:
Exceptionally, we’ll be open from 5 pm to 10:45 pm - which means Purple Disco Machine (Sept 26) and Carl Cox (Oct 3) will extend their show right up to 10:45pm!
And to keep your night as seamless as the beats, here are our pro tips for a smooth evening:
1. Arrive Early!
- Plan to reach the site before 5:45 pm to catch the metro while it’s still running.
2. BIXI – Extra Hub
- A temporary BIXI station will be set up on the island to add more bikes and docks.
3. Taxi / Uber
- Official drop-off point: in front of the Hélène-de-Champlain building.
4. Carpool & Parking
- All parking lots are open 6 am – 11 pm
Pay at the machines or via mobile app (credit/debit). Flat rate: $25/day.
- Best options for Piknic:
Lot | Walk to dance floor | Why choose it |
P7 – Plaine des Jeux | 8–10 min | Closest to the action—fills fast. |
P1 – Métro Jean-Drapeau | 8–10 min | Easy to find, well-marked walkway. |
P10 – Biosphere / Tour de Lévis | 10 min | Quick exit toward downtown. |
P2 – Musée Stewart / La Ronde | 12–15 min | Biggest capacity for late arrivals. |
- Carpool if you can—share costs and cut traffic!
Thanks for planning your trip so you can dance from 5 pm to 10:45 pm
Come early, stay late! See you on the dance floor,
