INFOPROG PIKNIC #3 - MAY 29, 2016

Spring is truly in full swing, and Piknic is ready to score it with two stages of fun and sunshine. This week we’re featuring an all-star line up of techno DJs at the Solotech stage, with beats to please even the most discerning of dancers. It all starts with Montreal’s own Alexa Jurjan, who’ll be delivering her custom blend of deep tech vibes. Next, hometown heroes Okin and Audio Sin will keep things dark and pumping with a big techno back-to-back, before ceding the stage to Berlin’s own Len Faki. This Berghain resident and Ostgut Ton veteran promises to be both hard-hitting and hypnotic, perfect for sunset dancing and evening grooves. Techno lovers, now’s your time!

Meanwhile, over at the Videotron Mobile Stage, we’re celebrating Montreal’s leading ladies of hip-hop. Local legend DJ Killa-Jewel will start the day with her jaw dropping turntablism and break beat madness, highlighting hip hop culture in its truest form. Then, we’re proud to present the Montreal return of the one and only Vilify, visiting from adopted home of Berlin! We’re thrilled to have her with us after her 2015 Piknic was canceled due to rain, and we can’t wait to hear what she’s got in store for fans new and old alike.
