Piknic #12 (August 13th)

After a weeklong break at the start of August, Piknic returns with a blazing hot lineup to kick off the month! Headlining this special day at the Solotech stage will be the one and only Jennifer Cardini, whose Igloofest performance earlier this year had us dancing until we couldn’t dance anymore. Expect just as much energy with an added summer twist when she returns to Montreal for another round of superb dance music. Better yet, she’ll be following up Honey Soundsystem’s Jason Kendig and Jackie House, whose bumping house beats are sure to get the party started.

Meanwhile, All Good will take command of the Moog Audio stage. Gene Tellem will be in full force with some laid back atmospheric grooves to get everyone moving and Kris Guilty will deploy his renowned crate digging skills to bring you on a musical journey. Finally, we’ll end the day with… a surprise artist! Who is it? We’re not telling. You’ll just have to come find out!

Piknic #13 (August 20th)

Piknic #13 is sure to be a lucky one, when the Solotech stage welcomes All Day I Dream’s YokoO for a headline set. This is a DJ whose familiarity with the many shades of House music is sure to leave the crowd grooving to their hearts content, and we cannot wait to hear what he has in store for us. He’ll be following up Montreal’s own Nymra & Sofisticated, local luminaries whose rich and sumptuous beats have graced the finest of our fair city’s clubs and who YokoO has shared many a stage with!

The Moog Audio stage meanwhile, will be in the hands of yet another mystery artist, this time presented by Never Apart (NVA)! Once again, we’re playing our cards tight to our vests but we promise the best in electronic music and more, when our champion takes the stage.

Piknic #14 (August 27th)

It’s another massive Piknic to close out the month of August, as we partner up with MUTEK for an incredible day of forward thinking music. Notably, the Solotech Stage will welcome the Piknic debut of Seth Troxler, a Detroit legend and leading light at the vanguard of techno whose powerful electronic innovation will be a can’t-miss set of the summer! Opening the day, MUTEK programmer will kick things off brilliantly with warm electronic soul, perfect to get everyone on the dance floor.

Meanwhile, the Moog Audio Stage, the day will begin with selections from the MUTEK Soundsystem, a collection of the festival’s global roster of programmers, playing a summery selection for our verdant dance floor. They’ll then be followed up by a live set by Alicia Hush, a performance that’s sure to both enrapture and challenge in equal measure. See you on the dance floor!
