EUTERKE GRANT 9TH EDITION – INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE

SAT[mixsessions], in collaboration with Piknic Électronik, Igloofest and ELEKTRA/BIAN is inviting artists working in the fields of audio and video to participate in the 9th edition of the Euterke Grant!

Launched in 2008 in honour and memory of François Dumouchel, AKA DJ Euterke, this grant aims to support the next generation of digital creatives through a special development program and the opportunity to develop ideas and projects in a professional context.

The call for submissions is open through July 1st, good luck to one and all!

• Piknic Électronik : 1 DJ set (Audio Grant) ;
• Igloofest : 1 VJ set (Video Grant) ;
• ELEKTRA/BIAN : 1 ELEKTRA festival pass (1 each - Audio et Video) ;
• SAT : Choice of course in the SAT Campus program (Audio and Video) + 1 VJ and DJ set at the Euterke 2017 event.

DJ Euterke (1972-2008)

From the start, Euterke’s work and "groovy” aesthetic has been tied to the dancefloor with an emphasis on dub. Signed to Kompakt’s ambient sub-label Avionix Records, Euterke also developed countless pieces meant for the theatre and cinema.

Euterke also played alongside world-renowned artists including Extrawelt, Dusty Kid, Pheek, Bender, and many more....This grant is in his memory.
