The good times weekend ritual is back this summer at Parc Jean-Drapeau from May 22 to October 2, 2022

Piknic Électronik is back with its beats and buckets for an amazing 19th season!

Montrealers’ favourite summer fest invites everyone down to the party every Sunday in summer, from May 22 to October 2, 2022. Piknic Électronik will feature some big names for its 2022 edition, where electronic music lovers, dancers, and every picnicker under the sun can head down to Parc Jean-Drapeau for over 30 shows at an outdoor event site open at its full capacity for the first time since 2019—and optimized to provide even more space for festivalgoers!

Regular program: Long-awaited passes go on sale tomorrow!
The pass pre-sale starts tomorrow, Thursday April 7th, for anyone subscribed to the Piknic Électronik newsletter. They will then go on sale to the public Friday April 8th on the Piknic Électronik website, which has been completely revamped for the occasion. Passes provide access to 18 regular Piknic events. Worth a value of $450, tickets will be offered at a preferential rate of $119 to early birds and then at the great rate of $139. Students benefit from a discounted rate of $99 at any time!

Piknic Électronik’s line up for the 19th edition, put together in collaboration with (Avec) Courage, will be unveiled April 12, 2022, and single event tickets will go on sale in the days following.

OfF Piknic: Get up close and personal with the electronic music scene

In parallel with the 18 events presented during regular season, Piknic Électronik has put together a series of evenings dialled into OfF Piknic mode. These special presentations will feature some of the best artists from the electronic music scene as well as musical collectives, who will take to the turntables at Parc Jean-Drapeau on key weekends. Festivalgoers can take in multi-talented producer KAYTRANADA on the May 19-20 opening weekend, followed by audio-visual London sensation Boiler Room on two stages July 2, featuring headliner Armand Van Helden, plus the deep-house sound of All Day I Dream on September 17. Artists originally slated to play Igloofest 2022 will also be at OfF Piknic, including Maceo Plex (May 27), Diplo (June 3), Claptone (June 11), Dillon Francis (September 2), Fatboy Slim (September 3), Bonobo (September 10), and Richie Hawtin (September 24). New and exclusive at this year’s OfF Piknic: a Videotron VIP zone for up to 600 guests. Tickets for all 11 OfF Piknic events are currently available on the Piknic Électronik website. Other events for OfF Piknic, which is put together with the precious collaboration of (Avec) Courage, will be announced shortly.
