BEST OF PIKNIC #15

If social media’s to be believed, a bunch of you believed the weather reports and stayed home. We get it, but NO, it didn’t rain (or barely, like 10 drops). So this time, weather wasn’t an issue and we lived it up! No excuses. A big thanks to the suits for that CRAZY #2for1 special at the bar. #lit

Here’s our best of: 


1. NÖRDIK IMPAKT IN THE HOUSE!

Some amazing French guests came to Piknic! Nördik Impakt (a collective of hardcore party fanatics) brought all of Europe to the Vidéotron Mobile stage. Memory: That part where Claude decided to present the crew by yelling: « Hey! We come from Normandy! » and the rain started pouring (for 3 minutes). A wink and a nod to the region’s weather. #itsrainyoverthere 

Also, special shout out to Baadman’s stage closing set – that was worth a detour.

2. THE CLOWNS

This Piknic was also our first attended by clowns, like – actual clowns. Not gonna lie, we had mixed feelings. We’re not sure if they were hilarious or terrifying. We’ll let you decide.

3. THIS SWEET TATTOO

We absolutely fell in love with DJ Surfing Leon’s tattoo iver at the Vidéotron Mobile stage! We were flabergasted (and even had trouble getting a decent picture to show you). 


4. #BOOGIEMADNESS

#Boogiemadness was in the air and not just from Pat Boogie. Let’s just say his whole fan club came wearing matching shirts bearing his likeness. Let’s just say it set the stage for what was to come.

5. DEETRON 

Obviously, we can’t NOT mention Deetron’s closing set. The cherry on the evening’s sundae! Listen back to these marvellous 10 minutes HERE, and breathe in the FOMO if you didn’t make it, #chicken
