David Shaw, a Montreal disco fixture, has sprinkled his vinyl science for over 20 years from Sri Lanka to San Fran, and guested on Tim Sweeney's iconic Beats in Space. Producing as Sexlife – his long-term relationship with the dance floor resonates on releases with Turbo, New Kanada and Obsession Recordings. His 2014 live set at Mutek with long time collaborator Iron Galaxy drew accolades from the likes of Resident Advisor and XLR8R. For Shaw’s first Piknic appearance, expect a metric ton of soulful street funk and un-blogged house.
