Formerly half of oddball duo LOL Boys (Friends of Friends Music), Heartbeat(s) is a slightly less cheeky project from Markus Garcia. Echoes of classic Detroit and Chicago sounds are anchored by an all business R&B twist. It may sound like a lot to take in, but at its core, Heartbeat(s) is a minimal affair aimed straight at the dance floor.
