Fu Ancko

Like a beast hunting his prey, Fu Ancko keenly observes the crowd, sizing it up before he lashes out with his sound. He keeps his cool because he's no amateur, he’s an exprienced musician. His stylistic inspiration comes from bouncy percussion loops, basslines with an acid flavour, trippy synthesizers as well as techno, tech-house, deep-house and techno. His mixes sketch an urban landscape that comes alive when the crowd starts moving to its beat, spreading beyond its borders, reaching out to people everywhere with each rhythm.

Fu Ancko solidified his career by collaborating with many artists and collectives like the ERESYS collective, an important reference in the Montreal techno scene, as well as the Ghotiitout Management family. These affiliations have allowed him to get his sound heard all around the world in various clubs and festivals.
During the winter of 2013, he performed a tag-team dj set with NoD at Igloofest right before Agoria and Audiofly. In 2011 he played alongside Dominik Eulberg at Piknic Electronik. The year before, he played alongside Chicago living legend Green Velvet. A few weeks later, he headed overseas to be greeted at the distinguished OPA in Paris and shortly thereafter Pacha (NYC) received the entire ERESYS crew. On top of his residency at Salon Daomé, Fu Ancko also frequently played in several partys, at Circus Afterhours, Societe des Arts Technologiques (SAT), Saphir, Club Pearl, Club U.N, Parking, etc. Keep your ears and eyes open, because Fu Ancko hasn’t finished with you yet.
