Focus Piknic | Alicia Hush

Alicia Hush connaît bien la faune festive montréalaise et particulièrement celle de Mutek. Depuis sa performance live en 2102 au festival, elle y revient régulièrement, autant pour y jouer que pour y danser. Cette fois-ci, c’est à la journée Mutek >> Piknic Électronik qu’elle apporte sa touche minimale pour un set live qu’on attend impatiemment.

What first got you interest in electronic music?

I was born in the special little techno town of Kitchener/Waterloo! I think there was something in the water ;)

Why and when did your first start performing live?
Mutek 2012 was one of my first performances. I was deeply drawn to the magic of moving an entire room with my own ideas and sound.

How would you define the Hushlamb vibe?
Groove addicts, dance floor warriors, a uniquely funky bunch!

If given the chance to perform with any artist in the world, who would you choose and why?
I'd love to share a bill with a dance floor master... maybe Ricardo Villalobos, Dan Bell or Zip.

What’s your favourite summertime activity?
Deep laughter in green parks with great friends....and beers !
