Revy's strange music comes out of his resourcefulness and a drive to experiment. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest USA before moving to Tokyo, and eventually Pittsburgh, the influence and contrast of nature and technology are made clear in his mesmerizing pieces. His style rapidly revolves between themes that are beautifully serious and comically ridiculous.
