Big sounds coming through from around the world this week at Piknic: we’re always treating you to variety but this week, the Solotech Stage welcomes artists from not one, not two but three different countries! It all starts with the sounds of Beirut Groove founder Rami O who’ll be bringing a deep, techy house sound straight outta Lebanon. Then, we come back to Montreal thanks to Pat Boogie’s underground flex that’s sure to kick our waterfront house party into full gear. Then, Switzerland’s one and only Deetron will arrive in force to bring the business, blessing us with Swiss techno that’s got the soul of Detroit.
This international journey continues over at the Vidéotron Mobile stage where La France will take center stage with three unique artists whose techno focus will be a sure fire winner among lovers of underground sensations. Flow sets everything off with some techno 20 leagues deep before passing the baton to Claude aka Fulgeance, a man who’s live set needs to be heard to be believed, combining everything from bass to techno and beyond. Finally, Baadman takes us home with some truly deep and subterranean grooves. Be there!
