Electronic culture fanatics, it's time to get impatient again : MUTEK is on it's way!
For the occasion, Piknic will be hosting an exciting program that includes the "made in Detroit" father-daughter duo Floorplan (side project of Mr. Robert Hood), Bambounou's french touch as well as the New-York native Anthony Naples.
To keep you going until then, here's a list of artists you "can't-miss-or-you'll-regret-it" at MUTEK this year!
•Clap! Clap! @ S.A.T - Cristiano Crisci fuzions jazz, african rythms and Chicago footwork with an incomparable groove. Sounds like it's gonna be a pretty magical moment on the dance floor. All smiles guaranteed.
Dj Lag is also a must see that evening. The king of gqom is a phenomenon that will certainly wake up your senses.
•Bonbon Kojak & Poirier @ Expérience 2 - You can't go wrong with these montrealers. Not many artists can brag that they're able to explore as many innovative sounds of Afro-house, hip hop and reggae as Poirier. #BIGRESPECT - FREE and musically accessible for ALL.
•Christian Carrière @ S.A.T - We all remember the improvised performance of this montrealer back in 2016 featuring a special short circuits sounds on a console at the MAC. His new Four Corners project has been fueling our curiosity lately.
•Chloé @ Expérience 3 - Do we really need to explain why we want to dance all night to the queen of Paris' dj-set Chloé? BTW, it's free.
•Errorsmith & Machine Woman @ S.A.T - Errorsmith makes his own instruments and has a crazy amazing presence on stage using Sonar and Dekmantel. A MUST! Especially when followed by Machine Woman's spicy atmospheric techno. Can't wait!
•Métropolis 2 - Everything is calling us to this event. Chloé's live, which includes the Endless Revisions album that marked us last year. Honey Dijon a real tornado that marked Piknic 2017. Jaclyn Kendall who took over the Videotron stage at Igloofest 2018 and Detroit figure Kenny Larkin. COME!
•Floorplan @ Piknic Électronik - Detroit baby, Detroit...
•Acid Pauli @ Satosphère - First of all, this event takes place in the S.A.T's dome, which is always a great way to end the festivities. Second of all, this incomparable berlin producer is going to treat us with a live Dj set. Amazing isn't it? We're already in tears (of joy).
We wish you nothing but the most amazing time. For a selection of passes, you can take a look here.
