SURPRISE! Believe it or not, Sunday was still summer! After dreading storm clouds all week, The 20th Piknic of the season went down with PERFECT weather. Only THREE left! #getready

1. DJ HARVEY

Without a doubt, the high point of the day. We got a serious buzz listening to him. For real, he’s a machine. We’d even go so far as to call him A LEGEND. He gave us a bit of everything: hip-hop, electro, disco and house! A real renaissance man, that Harvey. Clearly one of the best sets we’ve heard at Piknic all summer. And don’t just take our word for it:

2. YOUNG MARCO

We were definitely digging Young Marco’s set too. In fact, we were so hype that we decided to “livebook” it for a bit. Check it out HERE. 


3. PETIT PIKNIC 


This was already our 4th and last Petit Piknic of the summer. To celebrate, a heap of lovely families came down to enjoy all the activities. First prize definitely went to Ian Loghr’s mascot creation studio. The kids were LOVING it! Otherwise, it was great to see all the lil’ DJs get down at the scratch studio. Huge thanks to Chromatic Junior for their amazing work and their imagination throughout the summer. We love y’all.



4. THIS GUY 

Even if we ran out of Piknic t-shirts to sell this summer, nature err… finds a way. This guy for instance, went and bought himself a T-shirt and had our logo printed on the blank. SORTED! And boy was he proud to show off his new look.

5. OUR WATER (AND BEER) CARRIER'S KIT  

We didn’t ask too many questions, but the guy who walks through the crowd selling water and beer (yeah, that guy: the one who’s three times taller than you) was rocking THIS. A big, red, frilly cape. WELL THEN. Why not? Not sure about you, but it reminded us of THIS. Ok bye now!
