Born in France in the late ‘80’s, Pierre Babin has been exploring the world of music ever since he was very young. In 2008, his strong interest in electronic music led him to discover beats. In Montreal for two years, he has made several appearances at Salon Daomé’s Safari Tuesdays and at Passeport’s Exotek Fridays, where he is a resident.

Ezekiel and Louis Vee met in 2005, and by 2007 the duo formed Ezlv.  The duo distinguishes itself notably by the technical know how of the two DJ, and for their  eclecticism of their musical styles that they experiment with, from minimal to tech-house, going  through techno to deep house. They have been in studio preparing EP’s and remixes for labels like Tenth Circle, Artizan Music, Souvenir Music or Trendy Mullet. In february of this year, they started their own label, Suricate.

PillowTalk is Sammy D, Ryan Williams and Michael Tello. Based out of the famous Lower Haight District in San Francisco, PillowTalk's music fuses classic R&B, boogie and disco with underground house and techno with an original feel. With releases out on Visionquest, Life & Death and Wolf + Lamb, 2012 is shaping up to be a huge year as they hit the road with the live band.

Their real names may be Grzegorz and Wojchiech, but no doubt you’ll know them best as Catz N’ Dogz.  The duo’s refreshing take on dancefloor music has, in the last 12 months, propelled them into the limelight like never before. Perhaps it was getting the remix treatment from the incomparable Carl Craig and rising star Tanner Ross on their most recent Mothership release.  Or maybe it was their first appearance in Resident Advisor’s hallowed Top 100 DJ Poll. In any and all cases, the truth is clear: Catz N’ Dogz are well n’ truly at the top of their game.

The Jazz Amnesty Sound System (or J.A.S.S.) is run by Montreal DJs Andy Williams and Sweet Daddy Luv.  With an honest admiration, appreciation and awe for the dedication and skills of its honored players, these veteran selectors delve deep into the rich history of jazz in an attempt to weave its story. There is the idea of what 'jazz' is that follows it through the changes over the years.  The Jazz Amnesty Sound System play the classics that helped define all these jazz sub-genres as well as prime examples of sheer beauty created by artists that often get overlooked.
