This year, Montreal is the guest of honour at la Mercè, a world-renowned festival held each year in Barcelona, since 1902. Since 2006, one city has been invited to promote its cultural identity with a program that highlights local and international activities, while featuring artists from across the creative horizon. You guessed it. Piknic Électronik is part of the proud representatives from Montreal taking part in this special event from September 21^st to the 24^th.

It’s in this context that the Piknic’s Catalan version unfolds on September 23^rd at Jardin Joan Brossa in Montjuïc, our regular Spanish home. If you happen to be there then, drop in and catch, among others, projections by Moment Factory on the Sagrada Familia, as well as Cirque Éloize. Montreal in full seduction mode! Barcelona will fall to our charms, no doubt. Not that we’re over-confident but, you know. We’re quite hit.
