Beat ConciergeCA

Founded in 2001 by Benoit Simoneau, Beat Concierge began as a collective of DJ’s: Golgo13, Basement Maxxx, Pat Davis et Zed Aksis.   After the founder left for Europe, the name was repatriated by Stéphane Mackenzie.  Beat Concierge has since also become the production name for the KO dum’n’bass nights, featuring over the past six years collaborators such as Sébastien Fullum, Kiffah, Bind, MK and Atopsy in Québec.  Beat Concierge has also organized nights such as Psybass the 13th, 3D Mansion, The Knockout, Fresh on the boat, Party à la tour Lévis 2009, Spor, La Phaze, and Watcha Clan.

Qubic.mcCA

Qubic.mc (aka MC Y) debuted on the mic back in 2001 during the Junglist Fridays drum n’ bass soirées at Blue Dog in Montreal.  In 2005, he joined the KO crew, with whom he still takes up the mic these days as a resident MC.  Having accompanied some of the biggest names in drum n’ bass over the past decade, Qubic.mc can also be found rocking the mic for a diverse blend of Montreal groups and DJ’s, such as Plasters, Afrodizz, Orange Orange, and Stern*.  This mainstay of the local d’n’b community possesses a strong and methodical voice that can change on a dime from gorgy ragga to sweet flows.raillé.

GenericCA

Originally from Quebec, Generic discovered drum n’ bass/jungle at the end of the 90’s, and was instantly seduced by the rollicking 170 bpm styles.  He moved to Montreal, where he met the principal figures in the local d’n’b scene.  Since 2003, he has concentrated more seriously on his music, in the form of producing and DJing.  With his DJing experience, he found his sound and applied it to his production style.  He’s currently set to release his debut album, “SHIFT Music”.

Golgo 13CA

A member of the Beat Concierge collective, Golgo 13 was once singer for the Sherbrooke rap-metal group Guerilla from 1995-2001.  Working the decks since 2000, he has played at numerous parties and founded the KO drum n’ bass evening in 2004.
